Antilia
Antilia is an isolationist, semi-constitutional monarchy ruled by three branches of government (The High Council, The House of Governors, and the King and Queen) that share equal voting power in all major decisions. They have a pacifistic vegan culture that teaches compassion, forbearance, and honesty as the most important virtues. The rest of the world believes this advanced civilisation was destroyed in a natural disaster a thousand years ago because the country has a strict travel ban and it is surrounded by a ring of rock formations that is deadly to ships. Almoretzia
Almoretzia is a sovereign kingdom with a charitable culture that is willing to offer asylum to people who are persecuted over religion, politics, gender, or ethnicity. They are the only nation that is almost entirely powered by electricity, and they are presently the only government to be aware of the survival of Antilia. Their navy, comprised of majority women, is famous around the world and they are considered rivals of Malrenna, though not technically enemies.
Demekhal
Demekhal is a confederate theocracy whose god, Yleshaam, values intelligence, ingenuity, and scholarly pursuits. They are the nation with the largest concentration of agirium metal and elements necessary for making gunpowder. Their nation has the highest occurrence of hermaphroditism and their religious leaders dictate that humans born with superhuman abilities are demons that must be killed at birth.
Endala
Endala is an independent kingdom that is allied with the Malrennan Empire. Their culture values freedom so much that they do not have any prisons within its land and criminals are instead punished by fines, whippings, or execution. Their nation, reverent of birds, built the tallest buildings in the world and invented paragliding.
Fridha
Fridha is a matriarchal and matrilineal queendom that does not practice marriage or monogamy at all. Women’s romantic relationships are considered separate from the family and they raise their children within their mother’s clan, preferably with their brother or other close male relative taking the role of avunculate for their child. Their culture values passion, justice, and bravery, and they are known for expressing their emotions more intensely than others.
Frostland
Frostland is a territory of Fridha populated by a confederation of matrilineal tribes. Most of the land is uninhabited wilderness and is best known for its enormous taiga forests. Their culture is famous for practicing an unusual throat singing technique.
Malrennan Empire
The Malrennan Empire is an absolute monarchy that values courage, strength, and loyalty above all else. It is a culturally mixed empire, consisting of twenty-four formerly independent states that were annexed through either negotiation or conquest. Malrennans revere military service more than any other nation. Despite Kalidarism being their state religion, they are somewhat tolerant of other religions on their land as long as they do not proselytise.
Temar
Temar is an absolute monarchy whose nation focuses on agriculture, mining, and trade. Their culture worships an earth goddess of fertility and their laws grant women full equality and reverence upon becoming mothers. Their botanic gardens are some of the grandest in the world and the Temarese are famous for their business acumen.
